DxO PRIME can be used for images at very high sensitivity (above ISO) - such as for shots of night-time sports and shows, etc. However, DxO OpticsPro 10 also offers a new denoising technology, DxO PRIME, that is even more effective, since it makes it possible to preserve the all the details as well as the color fidelity. It would seem a shame to buy 11 and then find out 12 comes out in a couple of months time.1- Opening an image in DxO OpticsPro 10.Processing GoPro® images with DxO OpticsPro 10 - DxO I rarely use masks and gradients and if I do, I think a combo of DxO Pro and PS Elements 15 (which I have) will be sufficient.

I'll give Capture 1 a fair shot, but if I don't want much manipulation for 95% of my work, my gut feeling is that DxO Pro is better for me. Beyond basic highlights, shadows, clarity and vibrance etc, I don't tend to do too much with individual/local colour changes on 95% of my shots. Most of what I shoot does not require huge manipulation as I prefer the natural look and use graduated filters anyway. I will use Capture 1 to check it out but from the videos I've seen it looks way more complex than DxO and perhaps more use to those who shoot portraits than those who shoot landscapes. Really strong RAW processing is what I want. I may have a go with Capture 1 now as I don't think I will much care for Lightroom: I am not that bothered about filing systems (I just use standard Windows folders which seems fine enough for me). I have downloaded and enjoyed pro 11 Elite and my 30 days are up.

Has anyone any thoughts on when this will be out? I have read on one site that it is likely to be before Christmas, but there is, of course, nothing official.
